A micronation is a self-declared entity that is not recognised by other states or international organizations as a legitimate country. However, there is a broad array of micronations out there, ranging from physical areas to digital servers to metaphorical ideas.
What type of government is Aeternia?

The Empire of Aeternia is a Monarchy under an Emperor. This means that all rulings and decrees are made and validated under its Emperor. However, Aeternia is also infused with democratic ideals, which allows its people to be heard and represented, but still flexible enough to ensure speedy bureaucratic decisions.

The Empire of Aeternia, first and foremost, is a realist micronation, and thus pursues alliances with such a mindset. Therefore, we only seek and consider micronational alliances which offer direct economic and financial gain for both parties involved, such as trade opportunities.
